Michèle was born in Lyon (France). Her parents divorced when she was still a child and her mother re-married a Spanish man who she says "made her half-Spanish"! She learnt to speak Spanish as well as French and soon became totally bilingual.
For as long as she can remember, Michèle wanted to become an actress and she belonged to theatre groups for years. But unfortunately for various reasons, she was not able to continue on this path as an adult so studied international business instead. She then moved to London to improve her English and loved the city so much that she never left!
She worked in various industries as an events producer and before she knew it, she got married to a British man and together they adopted a sibling group of four children who are now teenagers.
She very much enjoyed being a wife and a mother but her first passion had always been acting and so once the children became a bit older, she decided to leave the corporate world, auditioned to get in drama school and simply, finally became a professional actress.
Michèle is a passionate, dynamic, flexible and versatile actress.
She trained at ArtsEd as a mature student and graduated with an MA in acting at the age of 50! Since then, she has been working entirely as a professional performer and already has extensive experience in all facets of acting.
Michèle features alongside Martin Clunes as Dominique Delagrange (grieving mother) in the ITV series 'Manhunt'. She also plays Madame Elise (1850's Parisian brothel owner) in 'Outlander' and Adrienne (protagonist's mother) in Simon Amstell's latest film 'Benjamin' . Stage wise, she is the founder of a theatre company called Allez Hop! Theatre and her first production "Be My Bloody Valentine", in which she played Mme Thenardier ran at the Drayton Arms Theatre in 2018.
Michèle regularly performs on stage, shoots music & corporate videos, films, commercials, still photos, TV series & documentaries, role play, voiceovers, etc...
Michèle founded Allez Hop! Theatre which creates out of the box, moment to moment productions.
It all started when Michèle went to a commercial casting and was asked to do a "Shrek" impersonation. This rather humiliating moment made her more determined than ever to set up her own Theatre company!
Allez Hop! Theatre is now in full swing and has already produced its first show which ran on 6-10 February 2018 at the Drayton Arms Theatre in London.
The play was really successful and sold 93% of the seats over 5 nights. The audience laughed out loud and the play got a 4**** review!
Michèle says that this is only the beginning of a long life in theatre as she already has her fingers in many projects and is currently talking to highly regarded professionals who are interested in developing her ideas. As a matter of fact, Allez Hop! is currently producing a brand new musical with a celebrity attached to it, so watch this space!
